Old Dog, New Tricks

I can't help but feel a bit old and tired. With the extra 15 lbs sitting at the forefront of my frame, everything is just getting a little achy.

So, this old dog decided that I needed to try some new tricks to perk myself up this week.

I had my first EVER massage. Sorry, IKEA, I think I've found a new love.

I had my first EVER chiropractic consultation and adjustment. Immediately after the massage. Let's just say that Wednesday afternoon was all about me, me, me.

I purchased my first EVER "Homecoming" outfit for a certain daughter-to-be in the softest shade of pink, with matching slippers and crocheted hat.

The combination seems to have done the trick. I'd say my tail is wagging again... but I don't want to throw out my back!

You go girl! I am SO proud of you. Didn't I tell you that pre-natal massages are better than... well... ahem... EVERYTHING? And I can't wait to see your latest purchase. I know it is exquisite :)

Speaking of, do you remember the outfits you sent when Emily and Evie were born? I don't know if you ever noticed, but it's what they were wearing for their birth announcement pictures. Just another testament to your exceptional taste. Your daughter is one lucky girl.

And your husband? Well, he'll survive.

(So good talking to you IRL the other day. Glad to hear it was a good week!)

ooohh ooooh....girly stuff. So excited to see the take home outfit! As for all your pampering endeavors...I must say I have never done it either. I imagine that getting a massage sounds so heavenly until I begin to picture worse case scenarios like hands the size of mammoth proporation coming at me or worse, I get the only available person...a hottie male. So I have decided to stick with my 3x to 4x a week hair brushing from my romantic hubby. It is heavenly and FREE! I also am not with child but I needed an excuse to brag on the hubster.

Wow. I think I have found a new blog to add to my list of favorite reads!

I stumbled upon your blog by clicking a link on MckMama's blog and boy am I glad I did. (It was the story of your recent day at the hospital.) You are such a great writer. I have really enjoyed reading through several of your posts. You have a gorgeous little boy..with or without hair:) and I can tell from reading just a little about you that you have such a kind spirit. I am looking forward to reading and knowing you just a little bit more!
